We work closely with a small number of clients in Finland and the Nordics. Decisions stay nearby; relationships outlast individual projects.
Software is made by people who trust each other or it isn't made well. We prefer a small number of long relationships to a churn of short ones. The same engineer who built the system is the engineer who answers the phone three years later.
Most of our work happens with partners in Finland and the Nordics. Time zones overlap. Decisions are made in rooms small enough that everyone can speak. Contracts read like memos between adults.
When we say long-term, we mean it. We've inherited and quietly maintained other people's code for years; we expect ours to be inherited and quietly maintained too.
Next: Software that ages well.
